  “ Guru Brahma , guru vishnu , guru devo Maheshwara … is a verse which is often associated with the Gurus … in Indian language a word for the mighty Teachers . As a mother , I was the first teacher to my daughter Anahita when I began teaching her the alphabets , not knowing that someday when she will turn into a grown up girl she will move into the direction where the education she received will help her motivate to study medicine … a huge leap to save the lives of people around her. That is where her journey began with the most prestigious university enabling her to make her dreams turn true . The name of the university is American university of Antigua. Starting her journey from the cradle of Manipal situated in the beautiful state of Karnataka to a leap to the beautiful Antigua was something every parent would desire for their children . The university offers an education which is dedicated to teach Medicine in all its capacities to its students. The professors guide the students with a smile and try to explain subjects so that the words get ingrained in the Brains of the young minds . My daughter is in her med 2 and loves each and every moment she spends at the institute , studying hard to reach her goals thus making everyone proud of her . This could only happen with the guidance of the Guru’s ( professors ) she has at the beautiful American University of Antigua . They are her Role Models of the dream she has of becoming a Doctor…

  AUA is a college where you find a very diverse group of students. It’s a safe environment to study and learn. The professors are genuinely interested in your well being and making sure that you understand the concepts well. We follow a system based approach allowing us to master and integrate each system we learn. Overall my experience at AUA has been amazing.

  I'm a second year student at AUA, amd overall it has been an amazing experience. The faculty are supportive, the campus is beautiful, and the curriculum is focused on preparing us for step 1. It's definitely intense but the resources and community here makes the difference. If you're serious about your medicine, and ready to work hard, AUA can get you where you need to be- to be a physician !!!!

  The faculty, support staff and the student population is well equipped, diverse and kind. The facilities and opportunities provided at AUA help in a holistic education experience to be better and well rounded aspiring physicians. There is a major focus on integration of hands-on experience to aid in the medical education received.

  Professors are great, we are constantly being pushed to do our best and the university provides all the support it can to help us. Manipal university is already very reputed and it is one of the best options for Indian students to practice in the US. The campus and the syllabus is constantly being updated to improve, and so we are completely prepared for our clinicals
