::Worst experience ever! Horrible technical condition of the cars, non availability of the staff. We were charged nonsense amounts for anything possible, even for parts of the car that were missing already at the start of the rental. All this without giving us any proper bill. At the end I was stolen by them, receiving a final bill for 1.240 USD but my card was charged one day after our departure by 1.315 USD. Criminals.

::We had a terrible experience here with Alicia. When we arrived at the counter after a long flight, Hertz was the only counter without an agent. After another rental company got in touch with her, she showed up an hour and half later, accusing us of not having our reservation. Upon showing her both my Hertz app and a confirmation email, she finally agreed to give us a car, and it was probably the worst one in the lot. On the day that we returned the car, she again accused me of not having the reservation and that she did us a favor by giving us a car. I felt discriminated against and alone at that counter when she started making up lies and giving a bad attitude —never have I been treated like this before. Do not even think about renting a car here!!

::Worst experience I ever had in my whole life. We were assisted by Katicia. This person should be immediately fired. She charged us for the sand in the car simply because she wanted and we end up in the police station. What a terrible experience. I hope Hertz International takes action.

::We rented a car for the day during a cruise stop and arranged in-port pick up. The car we were given began to overheat 40 minutes into our drive, and we had to run the heater as well as stop and let it rest every 15 min. We had no cell service and were on the other side of the island. When we returned the car, the lady checking it in just shrugged and said sorry, and there was no way to deal with the issue with management as we dropped off in port and had to get back on our boat. When we tried to address it later, they said if we were unhappy, we should have brought the car back, even though we only had 6 hours and that would have ruined the day. Because it is a locally owned franchise, Hertz cannot really do anything other than offer us a credit for future rentals. I rented from here because I expected Hertz quality, but that was not the case. We also had friends that rented here the same day and their ac didn't work and the car stalled out multiple times. Very disappointed and would not rent here again.
