::From clinic visits straight to labour and delivery I was given the best care!! My labour was long but loved it! Big up the student midwife like myself who assisted.

::If you can afford to leave the country, please do. The same doctors at the hospital will delay providing service to you and then recommend you to a fellow colleague with their private practice in the city to receive similar shitty service. Check other eastern caribbean islands for alternatives as this hospital is for who knows who (links even in health care).

::I honestly don't understand why people complain about the hospital. Because the wait is minimal, the surrounding is kept clean and sanitized, the staff are very polite and professional considering the pandemic, every precaution that can be taken is for health reasons of course. I owe alot to the staff at MSJMC, they are very underrated, they deserve all the praise for their great work effort. So update. I think I posted that first part during the pandemic. I think more money needs to be invested into Healthcare and the essential workers who are in those fields. The nurses are often overworked, understaffed and seemingly not paid enough in my opinion. The lack of support these nurses receive is heartbreaking. The lack of help, equipment and even small tools to do their tasks can't be met. Why are there no gloves, needles, medication and then the patients are not always the most pleasant and understanding in those situations and seemingly take it out on the nurses because they are the first line of communication when they have nothing to do with the lack of materials, money and proper infrastructure. They just come here to work and provide a service and aren't appreciated, paid or given the essentials to do it.

::This place is horrible. Don’t ever think of coming here. Instead, go to Woods Urgent Care and don’t evet look back. I went to Mount St. John’s with a kidney stone situation. When i went there i was crying and screaming in pain. There is only one person at the entrance who looks like a doctor and does the preliminary analysis. After that if you are lucky you will get to see the actual doctor which will take forever. The lady who did the preliminary analysis on me (which took about 30 mins to be able to talk to her) told me that my situation is not urgent. I was not even given a proper seating. They asked me to wait at the benches by the entrance which was extremely uncomfortable and cold. Her attitude was horrible and she didn’t even take my situation seriously. If you are in a medical urgency, the worst possible thing you can do is to go to this place. People in the island will tell you to go to this place but just don’t listen to them.
