::The architecture of the place is comforting, it gives a homely feel and the bay front provides lovely breeze on a day to day basis. There are a lot of villas to choose from, the beach is nice and services of staff.

::My wife and I spent our Honeymoon at this resort. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny. The 8 days we spent here flew right by, and we enjoyed every moment. The activities, multiple restaurants and accommodations were outstanding. All of the staff members were honestly friendly and very helpful. There's a taxi service that can take you into town, or you can venture out and rent a car for the day. We did both, along with all of the other activities that you can do on the beach. I highly recommend the BBC and club special for your drinks, we cant wait to return on vacation.

::The sea weed issue there is causing all the fish to die and wash ashore. The smell is so terrible you can't enjoy the beach, pools or even your hotel room. We had to end our vacation 3 days early because the smell was so terrible we could not enjoy the resort. We requested to be moved to the other side of the resort where the sea weed was not as bad and the hotel would not accommodate, even though that was where our room should have been before the hotel "upgraded" us to a beach front room where the smell of the sea weed and rotting animals prohibited us from opening our doors to the beach. The front desk staff was not accommodating and at one point even told me "everyone has a story" when we asked again to be moved as our child was having respiratory issues because of the terrible smell in our room. While I understand the sea weed is out of the control of the hotel, I feel they should have contacted us before our trip to advise us of the smell and our inability to use the beaches. I also feel the hotel could have been more accommodating in moving us to a different room that was not on beachfront. I do not recommend taking a vacation at St. James's Club & Villas!!

::Dated facility. Good food and amazing staff, very friendly. Beach is in rough shape on one side. Pools are not like big resorts ,much smaller. Mini fridge is empty. You get a few bottles of water first day, after that you have to purchase bottled water. Decent place but not worth the money compared to other resorts in Caribbean.

::Overall it was a great vacation. Everyone in the staff was very nice and always helpful. The food was good and plentiful. We were not thrilled with the location of our villa... Right next door to a commercial kitchen for one of the restaurants, Piccolo Mondo. When we complained we were offered another villa farther away from the beach, so we refused and put up with the noise.
