::Was given an SUV with the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with all the warning lights (including check engine), and was told not to worry about it. Then, woke up the next morning to find the left front tire almost fully deflated due to a slow leak, and was told it would be up to me to have it fixed, which I did by taking it to a local mechanic who very kindly fixed it for free. It drove clunky, I was certain it would stop running at any minute. None of the other cars were any better. This has made me second guess using any Hertz ever again.
